How to Make a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

Every homeowner who contacts Scotlandmiddle Heating & Air should get a fair and honest experience. If something went wrong, please tell us. This page shows how to raise a complaint and what happens afterward. It is a general template, not legal advice.

What Can You Tell Us About?

You can write to us about:

  • Your experience when you phoned or otherwise contacted Scotlandmiddle Heating & Air
  • How your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a provider we connected you with

Is the Problem With a Provider?

Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each one is responsible for its own estimates, pricing, equipment, warranties, work and customer service. If you have trouble with work done in your home, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly and keep a written record.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback on providers helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of our expectations may be removed. Please know that Scotlandmiddle Heating & Air cannot settle contract disputes, handle warranty claims, refund a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.

How Do You File One?

Email contact@scotlandmiddle.garden and include:

  • Your name and how to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you hope for

What Comes Next?

We will confirm receipt by email, usually within a few business days. Then we will look into what happened, which may include reaching out to the provider. After that, we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

Still Not Happy?

If our reply does not satisfy you, answer it and ask us to take another look. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For problems with HVAC contractors, your state's contractor or mechanical licensing board may be able to help too.
